Faces of Distinction

Built Different is an exclusive senior influencer and leadership program selecting 20 driven Class of 2027 students — 15 athletes and 5 fine arts leaders — to represent Carol Davis Photography – Your Journey Studios throughout their senior year.

Each selected student becomes one of the Faces of Distinction — chosen to represent discipline, dedication, and presence both on the field and in the arts.

Participants receive up to two personalized portrait sessions ($500 value), spotlight features throughout senior year, inclusion in the printed Senior Leadership Legacy Magazine, and the opportunity for the Distinction Honors level.

What are the Distinction Honors?

The Distinction Honors is a recognition system within the program.

Students who actively represent Your Journey Studios and refer other seniors who book sessions can earn:

• Studio credits toward images and products
• Additional features and recognition
• Upgraded placement in the magazine
• Special end-of-year recognition opportunities

In simple terms, students who show up, represent well, and help spread the word are recognized and rewarded for it.

Spots are limited. Selection is competitive.

Distinction Honors

Faces of Distinction are eligible for advancement through The Distinction Honors — a formal recognition system honoring those who actively represent and elevate the Built Different standard within their schools. Advancement may include studio credits, exclusive recognition, and featured highlights within the Senior Leadership Legacy Magazine. Advancement is determined by booked referrals generated through active representation of the Built Different program.
